With heavy hearts and tear-filled eyes, the community of Saint Paul, Virginia, mourns the loss of Hannah Ingle, who passed away far too soon on April 12, 2025. Her death has left an irreplaceable emptiness in the lives of her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her.
Hannah was a proud daughter of Saint Paul, born and raised in the close-knit town that she called home. She attended Castlewood High School, where she studied and built memories that her loved ones will forever cherish. She lived her life with a soft heart, gentle spirit, and a kind soul that left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
She was lovingly known by her family as “Hannah Banana” — a nickname that captured her sweetness, warmth, and the joy she brought into their lives. Her aunt, Shannon Ingle Jordan, shared a deeply emotional tribute:
“Oh my little sweet Hannah, my only hope is that you knew how loved you have always been… From the moment you were born, you had a full waiting room of family that already loved you… I have lost one of my nieces, my brother and sister have lost their child, my dad has lost a grandchild, my children have lost a cousin… this hurts so bad.”
Hannah’s childhood was filled with laughter, love, and sisterhood. Her bond with her cousins, especially McKenna and Auty, was something truly special. They were inseparable, growing up side by side, creating joyful memories that now serve as a precious reminder of the beautiful life she lived.
Friend Talor Smith also paid tribute, writing:
“My brain cannot grasp that this happened to such a sweet soul… Prayers for her family and everyone grieving the loss of such a beautiful person. Rest in peace, Hannah.”
Though her journey was cut short, Hannah’s memory will live on through the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the strength her family now carries in her honor. In the wake of her passing, may her story also serve as a reminder of the silent struggles many face, and may it inspire hope, healing, and compassion for those still fighting.
